Completion of AS Media Studies

All students have now completed the foundation portfolio and have completed the AS Media Studies exam. Each of these components are worth 50% of the final grade. We look forward to the final results in August.

We will begin A2 Media Studies soon after the final AS exams are out of the way.

Deadlines for Foundation Portfolio

Main task:

The titles and opening of a new fiction film, to last a maximum of two minutes.

All video and audio material must be original, produced by the candidate(s), with the exception of music or audio effects from a copyright-free source

Both preliminary and main tasks may be done individually or as a group. Maximum four members to a group.

Please note the following deadlines for your Foundation Portfolio:

• Research & Planning
• Completed Film Opening

Deadline Friday 23rd March

• Evaluation
